The boss Malphas in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 Season 3 will be here on January 23, and Blizzard has let players in on everything they can expect including a brand new boss, Malphas. Here’s everything we know about Malphas in Diablo 4 Season 3.

Diablo 4’s Season 3 theme is Season of the Construct, and players have expressed their excitement for all the features, creatures, and events. The developer update let players in on more information about what to expect for the new season, including a brand new boss Malphas.

Bosses in Diablo 4 are a special type of enemy that are usually only available for players who have reached endgame content. Some bosses are mandatory to defeat to unlock new areas and quests, and they are formidable enemies to fight against. Here is everything you need to know about the Season 3 boss, the demon Malphas.

Diablo 4 Malphas boss explained

Diablo 4’s new boss Malphas is the antagonist for Season 3. He is a demon who resides in the Loom and has created an army hell-bent on taking over Sanctuary

The Loom is an ancient technology created by Zolton Kulle, the original guardian of the soulstones. Malphas, a servant of Diablo, has taken control of one of the Constructs and has twisted this technology to create his army.

In the questline, players will be tasked with saving Ayuzhan, Kulle’s old assistant, and they need to work with the information he has in his possession to find a way to stop Malphas. Currently, we don’t know where players will be able to find Malphas.

Malphas abilities in Diablo 4

Malphas is going to be Diablo 4’s first stationary boss, bringing an interesting new way of fighting to players.

Malphas will throw traps and other hazards at players, standing in the middle of the arena and making everything around him difficult to traverse. There has been no specific information about what these traps will be as of now.

Malphas is also the one who is responsible for the corruption of the Constructs, which players will have to fight throughout the new questline.

That is all we have for now on Malphas, but we will be sure to keep you updated on any new information that comes out about the new Diablo 4 season. In the meantime, check out everything we know about Arcane Tremors and all the class nerfs and buffs coming in Season 3.
