Helltides have been one of the most talked about subjects in the Diablo 4 community, as it has constantly received mixed reviews since the game’s launch. Now, players have shared the main issue with Helltides in D4.

Diablo 4 Season 2 is in full swing as the devs have provided two major events for the players to indulge in. Even though many are busy with the Abattoir of Zir and Midwinter Blight events, some still cannot accept Helltides as it is and are pointing out issues.

The issues with Helltides began in Season, with the controversial Living Steel drop rate that was later fixed in a hotfix. However, that was not enough to win hearts and minds, as some players are still calling out problems in the activity.

Reddit user ‘datpuz’ posted about this issue as they claimed that the “real reason people don’t like Helltides much” was the movement during the activity. They added that they were constantly “backtracking” to get the loot and it was a major issue for them.

Other players agreed with the OP, as they said, “It’s boring and walking back 2 steps isn’t adding on the nonexistent fun part.” Others felt that this issue was “tedious” and was not making Helltides any better in Diablo 4.

Some players feel as if Helltides are not challenging enough and need more enemy density. Others claimed that Helltides should be like Blood Harvests, as normal Helltides are “just boring.”

In the comments, players continued with the OP’s point and said that the “pickup radius is way too small” during Helltides in Diablo 4, as some even called the pickup system “poor.” One of them suggested a “magnet or pet pickup system for generally everything.”

Players have been pointing out several issues in Diablo 4’s Helltides and the devs are yet to address these problems at the time of writing.
