Diversity in Skill Tree customization has always been a subject of discussion in the Diablo 4 community as players have yet again mentioned their dissatisfaction with the option in the game.

Diablo 4 Season 3 is in full swing as the devs have released a bunch of new patches since its beginning. With Season of Construct finally taking shape and the majority of players already reaching the endgame, many have pointed out several issues in the title.

Players are always asking the devs to make the customization and skills more engaging, and one of them has started the discussion once again in the Diablo 4 subreddit.

Reddit user ‘xeRicker’ posted about this issue as they claimed “the Skill Trees need to be more interesting” in Diablo 4, before suggesting certain changes for it.

Aside from calling the skill options “uninteresting,” the OP claimed that “customization of skills just isn’t there” in Diablo 4. To prove their point, they even drew examples from the Fireball and Frozen Orb skills where upgrading them more or less results in “more damage.”

They suggested that the devs should include “interesting combos” instead of just relying on increasing damage numbers, as it would fix the “lackluster” Skill Trees in the game. Many others also agreed with the OP and shared their thoughts.

“For the 4th entry of a series that pioneered the genre, it’s absolutely shameful,” claimed a player. Others even added how they used “the exact same skills for 100 levels” in Diablo 4.

As people praised the OP for “pointing out how watered-down D4 is,” many wished that the devs would address the issue and do something about it to make the game more enjoyable. However, Blizzard are yet to comment.
