Diablo 4 players call for ways to use “wasted” XP after reaching max level

Now that Season 2 has been running for more than a month, many Diablo 4 players have reached level 100, and want more uses for XP in the endgame.

Diablo 4 Season 2 is in full swing, with the upcoming Abattoir of Zir activity set to stir up the endgame experience for the players. As the devs constantly feed new content into Season of Blood and make fixes, players want some more tweaks to the endgame for their playthrough.

With Season of Blood running for more than a month, many players have already reached level 100 with their seasonal character. Some have also done that multiple times in Season 2 with different characters. This is why some players have been complaining about the lack of content to use XP on after reaching the max level.

Reddit user ‘Assignment_General’ claimed that the endgame is “unrewarding” and players should receive XP to use on some other activities like upgrading Paragon points in Diablo 3. The OP also argued that players would be more invested in the game if the XP bar was “counting for something.”

Others agreed with the statement as they felt that XP was being “wasted” and there should be more activities in the game involving the usage of experience points after reaching level 100. They also suggested that post-level XP “could become some sort of currency” to use in Diablo 4.

People who have reached level 100 have also said that they have “no motivation to hunt” for Uber Uniques and other items as it would “mean nothing” after the season ends. Some felt that post-level 100 XP should “turn to glyph XP” in the game.

However, a few players suggested making new characters after one reaches level 100 and start grinding XP again from the beginning. This has been one of the reasons why many players tend to make a lot of characters in a single Diablo 4 season.

Players would love to have some alternatives for their XP after level 100 in Diablo 4, but the devs have yet to address the issue. With so many shouts about this subject, only time will tell if the devs take action.
