Diablo 4 players beg for more “challenging” World Tier to increase difficulty

Diablo 4 players feel that a new World Tier added to the game could improve its condition and difficulty, giving the developers new and better ways to plan out loot drops.

Diablo 4 has four different World Tiers which act as different levels of difficulty in the game. The easiest is World Tier 1: Adventurer and the most difficult one is World Tier 4: Torment.

Needless to say, the higher the World Tier, the more difficult enemies spawn, but better the rewards dropped. In fact, there are a few dungeons that are locked behind World Tiers in the game.

However, with the way build crafting has progressed, players believe that World Tier 4 has become overly easy for most of them.

In this regard, user ‘yxaltis’ took to Reddit to share their idea of a new World Tier in Diablo 4. According to them, a new World Tier would present a better opportunity for players to engage in difficult content and for the developers to increase Unique loot drop sources.

Players pointed out that a new World Tier would be a fun way to round things up in Diablo 4. A player said, “The capstone dungeons are a fun goal, it’s enjoyable to see how early you can clear them every season. I think one more could round out the game nicely.”

Another user commented, “IMO giving players an option to make the game more difficult should be done alongside nerfing OP builds and fixing glitches/bugs. Both are needed.”

‘Tmak254’ agreed with OP’s idea and said, “World tier 5 is a great idea. It would be the tier you go for once you’ve optimized your build and are ready to have the general content of the game be much more risky/rewarding.”

At this point in time, it’s unclear if Blizzard will be introducing a new World Tier, but with the Vessel of Hatred expansion, that’s scheduled to arrive sometime this year, a new World Tier could be on the cards.
