Call of Duty: WWII Operation Shamrock and Awe: March 13 – April 3

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have announced the new in-game event for Call of Duty: WWII — St. Patrick’s Day themed — Operation Shamrock and Awe! It runs March 13 through April 3 in Call of Duty: WWII. It’s live in-game with the latest patch update.

The new event features all new St. Patrick’s themed gear, weapons, and featured modes.

Headquarters also receives a new update — fully decorated for the holiday event! SHG has also added in Shipment, the fan favorite map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

New weapons are The new weapons include the MG81 LMG and M-38 SMG. In addition to the St. Patrick’s Day themed content, the new update brings weapon charms, along with a slew of new weapon variants, weapon camos, weapon reticles, uniforms, helmets, permanent collections, and more! Check out the Quartermaster collections for all of the new weapon variants.

Captain Butcher returns as the Quartermaster, bringing limited time St. Patrick’s Day themed items for the duration of the event.

Leprechaun Hunt Moshpit

The Leprechaun Hunt Moshpit delivers Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed and Domination modes with a twist: a fleet-footed zombie leprechaun hidden in each map. Players who eliminate the terrifying little sprite are rewarded with something better than a pot o’ gold – all of their equipped Scorestreaks full and ready to deploy.

This mode will be available for players as a Featured Public Match playlist during Operation: Shamrock & Awe, offering 2XP from 10:00 am Pacific on March 16 to 10:00 am Pacific on March 19.

Nazi Zombies: 

SHG and Activision also says that the Nazi Zombies lobby in-game will be updated for St. Patrick’s Day with this event. In addition, eagle-eyed players will notice some changes in the Nazi Zombies maps to celebrate the holiday.
