Warzone “Movement King” JoeWo proves that the classic fire Shotgun meta could make a return to the battle royale in Season 1 thanks to MW3’s dominant Haymaker.

Since the start of Season 1, the Warzone meta has been dominated by a select few weapons. Top performers include the MTZ Interceptor, WSP Swarm, and BAS-B. However, with buffs and nerfs expected to arrive with the Season 1 Reloaded update, the meta is expected to shift drastically.

Warzone experts have been trying to identify which weapons are poised to climb to the top following potential nerfs to the best weapons in the game.

Spotting underrated weapons that have the potential to do serious damage in Warzone is a tough task, but top player JoeWo believes that the Haymaker Shotgun could lead to the return of the notorious “doof doof” meta. Check out JoeWo’s fire Shotgun loadout for Warzone’s Haymaker below.

JoeWo’s best Warzone Haymaker loadout

  • Muzzle: Bryson Improved Choke
  • Barrel: Imperator Long Barrel
  • Ammunition: 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath
  • Stock: No Stock Mod
  • Magazine: 20 Round Drum

JoeWo‘s Warzone Haymaker loadout requires the classic 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath ammunition to wreak havoc on Urzikstan, Vondel, or Ashika Island. Then, the Imperator Long Barrel is the key to increasing the Shotgun’s bullet velocity and range.

The Bryson Improved Choke will further boost the Haymaker’s damage range. Next, the No Stock Mod is essential for increasing the weapon’s mobility. You’ll be using the Shotgun in close quarters, mobility is vital for success. The 20 Round Drum rounds out the loadout, ensuring you have enough ammo to take down multiple enemies.

If you haven’t leveled the weapon up already, now is the perfect time to do so, ahead of the Season 1 Reloaded update.
