Specialists characters will have level progression, ranking up unlocks customization items

During a Q&A Periscope stream with David Vonderhaar, he confirmed that specialist characters in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will have their own level progression system, where players have to rank these characters up through earning XP.

Vahn confirmed that one of the things you will unlock as the specialist ranks up is new customization items. It’s not clear as of now how prestige mode and system will work with the specialist system.
