Since the Call of Duty: Vanguard Operator Arthur Kingsley was introduced into Warzone, many players have been unhappy with the way the Operator looks.

With Season 6 on its way, marking the last season for Black Ops Cold War’s integration with Warzone, players are gearing up for Vanguard‘s release, especially since the new Arthur Kingsley Operator was released.

As both Vanguard and Warzone use the same engine, many thought the Arthur Kingsley Operator would fit in and look great. However, it seems that is not the case to some members of the Call of Duty community.

Arthur Kingsley in Vanguard

The difference in appearance between Arthur Kingsley in Vanguard and the Warzone promotional image for his release seems to be the issue. Reddit user ismovan put up a post comparing the looks.

Referring to the different images of Arthur Kingsley, the user states, “How did this… and this… become this?”

It’s clear that there is less detail on the Warzone version of Arthur Kingsley when compared to the promotional image and his aesthetic in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

In the Warzone version, the Operator lacks some details, like the googles on the Vanguard version. Further, the facial structure seems to be different as well, with a lot less detail.

Of course, this can be explained for resolution and also the fact that the promotional image is not gameplay, as one of the comments points out:

“Because only one of them is actual gameplay…

However, to the players, it’s still going to be disappointing to see a new Operator not living up to expectations. Ultimately these three versions of Arthur Kingsley are all from different outlets, hence why the Operator looks so different when compared.

Arthur Kingsley is not only available as an Operator in Vanguard, Warzone, and Black Ops Cold War, as he is also available for players to use in CoD: Mobile making him the latest addition to the game’s stacked roster of characters.
