With Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone around the corner, Nicholas ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has highlighted the MAC-10 and AMAX as the two potential kings of the game’s new season.

Warzone Season 3 managed to keep a consistent and well-balanced meta. It’s had weapons that definitely performed better than others, but players still managed to keep an open mind when it came to loadouts.

Many deaths in Warzone this season have been at the hands of an AMAX Assault Rifle or MAC-10. Despite two separate nerfs to the AMAX, the gun continues to be a contender for the meta gun in CoD: Warzone and NICKMERCS believe the AMAX and MAC-10 are the “best guns in the game.”

“I gotta be honest man, people have been using the AMAX and MAC-10 for a long, long time, it’s been a thing in the game for a while, but this is what I think is gonna be the best guns, the tournament guns, what everybody is gonna be using IF we see no changes to these guns,” Nick said.

Nick himself has used a variety of guns throughout Warzone Season 3, using the likes of the AS VAL, the Bruen Mk9, and the Ram 7.

He mentions the nerfs to the AMAX and says that it’s still “the top dog that everybody is using” in spite of this. Nick then explains his liking for the MAC-10 saying, “the MAC-10 hasn’t been hit or changed as much, but still top dog, top contender.”

The streamer believes that these are the two weapons he’s dying to most frequently in Call of Duty: Warzone, and whilst there are other solid guns to use in the game, “these two guns, in my opinion, are the best options.”

It’s not uncommon for Nick to change his opinion of a gun or loadout as hours upon hours of Warzone each week causes him to swap guns around and try out new combinations.

The AMAX and MAC-10 are both monsters in Call of Duty: Warzone, and it would not be a surprise to see more loadouts featuring the guns in Warzone Season 4.
