JGOD was lucky enough to be one of the playtesters for the new Warzone Pacific Caldera map. This insight allowed him to provide some advice for which guns you should be looking to use on launch.

If you’re stuck wondering which weapons you should use when Warzone Pacific Season 1 drops, luckily Call of Duty content creator JGOD has some insight.

JGOD provides the community with great detailed stats about the weapons. Of course, depending on which mode you play, different weapons will be available to you. When it comes to the new Vanguard Royale mode, JGOD has the best Vanguard weapons you should try out on day one.

Warzon Pacific weapons

During the playtest, JGOD was able to play the two Warzone Pacific game modes, Vanguard Resurgence and Vanguard Royale. These game modes only allow Vanguard weapons and equipment.

When it comes to weapons, Vanguard is introducing a heap of new ones. From long to short-range options, JGOD has the best Warzone Pacific Caldera weapons you should be using on day one.

JGOD’s best Warzone Pacific Caldera guns

Vanguard PPSH-41 SMG
  • Bren
  • PPSH-41
  • NZ-41
  • Automaton
  • STG44
  • Kar98k
  • Top Break

First off, JGOD tried out the Bren in the playtest and found it to be “very good, a little harder to use at range because of the slower fire rate but still pretty solid.”

As for SMGs, JGOD feels the PPSH-41 is a great day one option, but advises players to stick to the “normal magazine type,” which is the magazine attachments that don’t modify the damage. In terms of TTK, JGOD says the PPSH-41 is “very solid.”

Next up with have the NZ-41. Despite only having 45 bullets in a mag, JGOD says it felt “pretty good even in Quads.” Another great AR option is the Automaton, which has “super low recoil.” JGOD feels this will be the most “noob friendly gun,” mostly because it has a large mag size and is easy to use despite not having the fastest TTK.

Of course, we then have the STG44, which players have already been using through the Season 6 Battle Pass weapon blueprints. JGOD says it can be built for both long-range and close-range Sniper support.

On the topic of Sniper support, a good Sniper to pair the STG44 up with is the Vanguard Kar98k. The Vanguard Kar98k actually has a “no glint” Perk attachment which JGOD recommends using.

Lastly, JGOD also says the Snake Eyes may be back in Warzone Pacific, as the Top Break with the Akimbo Perk attachment is a great secondary option.

Well, there you have it, those are all the weapons JGOD recommends you use on day one of Warzone Pacific. For more, check out these new details concerning RICOCHET Anti-Cheat.
