Dr Disrespect claims Apex Legends is better than Warzone 2 for one major reason
Popular Warzone 2 streamer Hershal ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm has revealed one major factor that he believes makes Apex Legends superior to the Call of Duty title.
Warzone 2 is set to receive a plethora of changes with the arrival of the Season 2 update, including the return of the 1v1 Gulags from the first Warzone and some significant looting changes.
Despite these changes, top streamer Dr Disrespect remains skeptical, claiming that Season 2 won’t be enough to save Warzone 2. Now, he’s revealed exactly why he feels that Apex Legends is a better game.
During a stream, he ended up being so frustrated with the state of Warzone 2 that he rage-quit two different matches. He then described Warzone 2 as “boring” before adding that he wants the games he plays to feature “improvement with a noticeable skill gap.”
Dr Disrespect pointed towards Apex Legends as an example of getting this right. He explained: “In Apex, there’s a lot of mechanics happening, and I can tell that each one is individually improving.” These include sliding, wall jumping, and recovering banners.
He also added: “There’s like so many different elements in that game that require a sense of brains to make a decision and to execute the decision. That’s why I like Apex. You could feel intelligent design behind the game.”
Dr Disrepect claimed that Warzone 2 does not give him the same feeling of progression. He stated: “How do you improve in Warzone 2? Do you slow down or do you jump into 1v4s and try to wipe them out every single time?”
This is not the first time that Dr Disrespect has compared Warzone 2 to Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale title, as he previously claimed that Apex Legends is the hardest shooter he’s ever played.
Throughout this stream, he complained about different aspects of Warzone 2 that he had addressed before, including enemies using multiple Self Revives to stay alive. It remains to be seen if Season 2 will end up changing his mind or not.
