The notoriously fast-firing Cold War PPSH-41 SMG can cause significant damage in Warzone Pacific Season 2, so make sure you’re not missing out with our best loadout, complete with attachments and Perks.

Multiple Call of Duty games have featured the PPSH-41 SMG, and it’s been mega-popular and used frequently. Its blistering speed can sometimes be hard to control, but given that Warzone has a near-endless stream of attachments, the PPSH can become a beast.

The Black Ops Cold War SMG can destroy large groups of enemies in close quarters without you having to break much of a sweat if you use the right attachments and Perks to maximize its potential.

With this in mind, here is how to make the best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout for Pacific Season 2 of the Call of Duty battle royale.

Best Warzone Cold War PPSH-41 loadout

Best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 15.7″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Ammunition: 55 Rnd Drum
  • Stock: Raider Stock

To get the best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout rolling, we’re immediately applying the popular GRU Suppressor as we want our SMG to be as quiet as a mouse but still perform well at any range. The 15.7″ Task Force barrel is a must for most SMGs as, again, it increases damage over longer distances.

The Raider Stock is excellent for increasing your overall mobility and speed, and the 55 Rnd Drum gives us enough ammunition to finish off two or three players.

We finish the attachments off with the Spetsnaz Grip as it will make controlling the PPSH-41’s troublesome vertical recoil pattern much easier.

Best Perks to run with Warzone PPSH-41 class

Combat Scout perk in Warzone
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill / Ghost
  • Perk 3: Combat Scout

Given that you’re going to want to get in close with the PPSH regularly in Warzone, E.O.D will allow you to shrug off Thermite, Grenades, and other explosive distractions.

Even with attachments, the best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout still lacks the full range that an Assault Rifle can offer, so Overkill lets us play with a longer-range gun such as the STG44. You can switch to Ghost after collecting both your long-range and close-range weapons.

Lastly, we recommend equipping Combat Scout, highlighting any enemies you damage for your whole squad to see. You’ll be able to hunt them down with greater ease across Caldera’s jungles.

Most recent PPSH buffs and nerfs

PPSH in Warzone

Raven Software applied some buffs to the Black Ops Cold War SMG back in the Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update that went live on October 7, 2021.

This update also brought a whole host of other weapon balancing changes that you can find here.

You can find the latest PPSH buff details below:

  • Weapon Kick adjusted
  • ADS Sway adjusted

While firing the PPSh-41 (BOCW), the Weapon could kick in a manner that would make it difficult to gauge bullet directionality. This is a subtle change that will have a significant impact on the ability to line up shots reliably.

How to unlock the PPSH

best warzone ppsh loadout

Players could unlock this Black Ops Cold War SMG by reaching Level 15 on the Season 3 Battle Pass.

However, with that Battle Pass no longer available, players now have two different challenges they can complete to unlock this weapon.

You can find these unlock challenges below:

  • Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer/Warzone: Using SMGs, get 3 kills immediately after sprinting in 15 different completed matches.
  • Black Ops Cold War Zombies: Using SMGs, kill 50 Special or Elite enemies while they are ensared in your Toxic Growth.

Best alternatives to Cold War PPSH-41

The best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout is still a solid option but the meta SMG weapons at the moment seem to be the Owen Gun and Welgun. If you’re no longer interested in a close-range option you can always opt for this incredible 3-Line Rifle loadout.
