Vanguard’s fastest killing guns: Lowest TTK weapons in Season 2
You’ll need to kill your enemies as fast as possible to win gunfights in Call of Duty: Vanguard, so we’re taking a look at the fastest killing weapons in Season 2.
Time-to-kill, or TTK, is king in Call of Duty. Killing your enemies as fast as possible is key to winning gunfights, so you’ll need the weapons with the lowest TTK possible.
Thanks to data compiled by YouTuber TheXclusiveAce and TrueGameData, we can see which Vanguard weapons have the fastest theoretical TTK in the game – helping you decide which weapons you need to kill your enemies as fast as possible.
Unsurprisingly, apart from one-shot Snipers and Shotguns, it’s the Assault Rifles and SMGs that lead the way in terms of TTK, so here’s the fastest killing gun in each of these categories.
AS44 – Lowest TTK Assault Rifle in Vanguard

Vanguard’s AS44 has proved itself to be the fastest-killing Assault Rifle in Season 2. Boasting an impressively fast fire rate, with its base version being capable of killing players in only 195 ms, which puts it 15 ms faster than a one-burst from the ITRA Burst Assault Rifle.
The only downside to the AS44 is its recoil, but there are very few weapons that are capable of outgunning it – especially when using the best AS44 loadout.
Welgun – Lowest TTK SMG in Vanguard

Season 1’s Welgun is the fastest killing SMG in Vanguard, being able to take down players in only 182 ms. This makes it the fastest killing automatic weapon in Vanguard, only being beaten out by Shotguns.
Using the best Welgun loadout will net you this rapid TTK, allowing you to outgun any weapon in the 0-15m range, where most close-range SMG fights will take place. But of course, it will still lose to a one-shot Shotgun at point-blank range.
