We got a good look at Call of Duty: Vanguard through its massive reveal event, but popular streamer Dr Disrespect wasn’t impressed with what he saw, calling it “weak.”

Sledgehammer Games are working on the next CoD game, and they’re taking the series back to World War II in Call of Duty: Vanguard. We got a closer look at it through the August 19 reveal event.

This in-game event had players destroy a train in Verdansk before they got a first look at the Vanguard reveal trailer. As exciting as this was, high-profile streamer Dr Disrespect was unimpressed.

After blowing up the train and watching the Vanguard trailer, Doc immediately asked if there was another step to complete. He then jokingly began discussing what he saw in the event.

“I’m blown out of the water,” he sarcastically stated. “I just hope whoever worked on the reveal is fully involved in the brand new map.”

Doc then explained that he would’ve preferred a session in Vanguard at the end of the event rather than just a trailer.

“How about after you destroy the train, you and your squad are taken to a Vanguard game. Multiplayer, 4v4, competitive settings, it’s Capture the Flag. I mean, you talk about blowing people’s minds.”

He made it clear that despite his disappointment with the event, he’s still eagerly awaiting the arrival of Vanguard. “I’m looking forward to it,” Doc said. “I always look forward to the new CoD every year.”

Vanguard will bring a plethora of content to enjoy, including a modified Gunsmith, an anti-cheat system, and a whole new campaign storyline. So, there’s definitely a lot to look forward to in the next entry in the fan-favorite first-person shooter franchise.
