How to unlock Dual Kodachis in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 Season 2
The arrival of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 has brought the new melee weapon known as the Dual Kodachis to use in both games. Here’s how you can get your hands on it.
For those who are interested in taking on their enemies up close, the Dual Kodachis are available as part of the Season 2 update, so here’s how you can unlock this new melee weapon.
How to unlock Dual Kodachis Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2
The Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Dual Kodachis melee weapon is a free unlock in the Season 2 Battle Pass. These short swords are available centrally within Sector B13, and you’ll need to get the four other rewards in that sector first.
The Dual Kodachis are described on the Call of Duty blog as “a powerful melee weapon that can quickly move towards a target with a longer-range attack.” So, you can use it to dish uto some serious pain.
According to the description, this melee weapon has “impressive range and faster forward motion towards enemies compared to the Knife melee weapon.” That said, the weapon has “slower strafe and sprint speed.”
Using the Dual Kodachis is perfect for those players that prefer to play sneaky and melee opponents when they least expect it, and may even be more effective than the regular Knife. You can use it to slice through the competition.
According to the blog post, you can take two main paths from sector B1 to B13, and each one will bring you near Hutch’s “Vengeful Dragon” Operator Skin. Be sure to grab the Dual Kodachis after hopping into Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2.
