Gfinity CoD Summer Championship tournament takes place this weekend

Gfinity’s Summer Championship tournament for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place this weekend with teams from North America and Europe competing in the Gfinity Arena in London. The event starts this Friday, July 31st at 6PM UK time.

The teams will compete for $100,000 (the largest prize pool ever for a Call of Duty event hosted in the UK), 25000 pro points and the title of Gfinity Champions.

Group A:

  • Team EnVy

  • Team Infused
  • Team Kaliber
  • Liquid Gaming

Group C:

  • Team eLevate
  • Epsilon.EU
  • Rise Nation
  • IGI eSports

Group D:

  • OpTic Nation
  • Vitality Storm
  • TCM Gaming
  • Spirit Gaming

The top 2 teams from each group will move on to the single bracket elimination play while the bottom two teams will be eliminated. All group play and bracket play will be best of five series, but the Grand Final match will be a best of seven series.

Schedule:

  • Friday, July 31st: starts at 6PM UK time
  • Saturday, August 1st: starts at 12PM UK time
  • Sunday, August 2nd: starts at 11AM UK time

Gfinity has announced the line-up of matches for Day 1 of the event, which is Friday, July 31st. The stream will start at 6PM BST.
