CoD 2023 report leaks reveal date & Zombies mode
ActivisionAccording to leaks, a CoD 2023 reveal is set to take place during an in-game event in August, so here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Call of Duty title, including the possibility of a Zombies mode.
Very little is known about the upcoming CoD 2023 title, but Call of Duty fans will soon get their chance to find out more. On May 9, an Insider Gaming report published by Tom Henderson claimed that the official reveal for Call of Duty 2023 will take place in early August.
While most Call of Duty fans have their sights set on the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded update that will bring Ranked Play to Warzone 2, the report provides details on when and how CoD 2023 could be revealed.
According to Henderson, the reveal could occur via an in-game event, similar to how previous Call of Duty titles like Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard were revealed in the original Warzone.
As of now, there’s no telling what that event might be or if it will take place in Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2. However, the CoD insider did reveal that the tentative reveal date for CoD 2023 is set to be August 1.
Previously, reports suggested that CoD 2023 is being developed by Sledgehammer Games. As for a name, Henderson explained that “It’s still unclear on what exactly Call of Duty 2023 will be named, but it’s been widely reported that the game is essentially a continuation of Modern Warfare 2.”
Earlier in February a report revealing key dates concerning the CoD 2023 beta, campaign early access, and release date were revealed. This May 9 report doubles down on these dates and confirms that they have been corroborated by “several sources.”
The report dropped a major bombshell by concluding that according to sources, Zombies will be available in CoD 2023 at launch.
There’s still a ton of mystery shrouding the potential Zombies experience in CoD 2023, but we’ll have more information for you as it arises.
