Warzone devs want you to decide if High Trip Resurgence sticks around

Warzone’s 420-inspired High Trip Resurgence mode has been a popular addition to the game and the devs want you to decide if it remains active for even longer.

Both MW3 and Warzone celebrated 420 with special in-game events, Blaze Up and High Trip. The latter brought a special LTM to the recently returned Rebirth Island, where players can collect Gummies to unlock unique bonuses, such as fast reloads or super speed.

Now, with High Trip coming to an end, the devs are calling on the community to decide whether or not the mode is extended.

Raven Software posted a poll on their X account on April 23 asking a simple question: “Do you want to keep rolling up and smoking the competition in High Trip Resurgence for one more week?” To this, fans can either choose “Yes” or “No.”

At the time of writing, the voting is pretty evenly matched. 50.6% of the community have said they’d like the LTM to hang around for longer, while 49.4% want to see it removed for good.

The High Trip event is due to end on April 24 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST and the poll runs until April 25 at around 12 AM PT / 3 AM / 8 AM BST, so you’ll need to act fast if you want to have your say.

Although the poll itself is fairly close, players in the comments were overwhelmingly positive about Warzone‘s High Trip mode, particularly the unlimited Tactical Sprint ability.

“Green gummies make the gameplay fluent and would be huge if fully implemented into the game,” said one reply, before another added: “At this point make it permanent and start tracking stats.”

The devs are currently only considering extending the mode by a week, but if the demand is there it wouldn’t be a surprise to see High Trip return to Warzone sporadically in future seasons. But this will likely depend on the results of this poll, so make sure to cast your vote while you still can.
