Black Ops Cold War devs investigating camo progression issues

Treyarch released a new patch update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on all platforms on December 8.

The new patch update stated that it included a fix for the progression issues with Dark Matter camo challenges.

The patch notes stated that the update included a fix to “address an issue where Mastery camos were not progressing properly for some players, despite being earned.”

Many players confirmed that the new update has fixed their camo progression issue, but others have stated that nothing changed for them. Their Dark Matter camo progression is still stuck, and won’t progress.

Treyarch has confirmed on Reddit that they studio has seen comments on the issue still happening, and the team is now investigating additional fixes for the issue.

“I’m seeing the conversations about this and am relaying it to the team,” Treyarch Community Manager FoxHoundFPS said on Reddit.

There’s no confirmation on when to expect this fix to go live in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Fans have been frustrated that they are unable to progress their camo challenges as they work to unlock Dark Matter in-game.

The next update for Black Ops Cold War is set for December 15 ahead of the Season One launch on December 16.

More information on the new Season One content will be announced as the release date approaches.
