We’ve put together the perfect loadout featuring perks, attachments, and more, for you to wreak havoc in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s open-world Zombies mode – Outbreak.

Treyarch hit the jackpot with Outbreak as it not only expanded upon everything that made Zombies such a fun and enticing mode, but it may have changed the concept forever.

But the more Zombies changes, the more it actually stays the same. All the old, familiar elements are still maintained in Outbreak meaning you can find Pack-A-Punch Machines, without needing to turn on the power, and there are still lots of fun objectives to do – such as fishing.

So without further ado, here’s our best Outbreak loadout for Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

Best Weapons to use in Cold War Outbreak Zombies

It doesn’t matter what game mode you’re playing in Call of Duty, if you don’t have the right setup, then you’re going to come unstuck.

Zombies modes come with the added benefit of the enemy not shooting back at you not nearly as much as real people would. So you can play a bit more relaxed, switch up your weapons, and maybe use guns you wouldn’t ordinarily use.

For Outbreak, we would recommend that you get your hands on these weapons ASAP – and have one of them as a starting weapon.

1. Gallo SA12 Shotgun / H-NGM-N & attachments

  • Muzzle: Duckbill Choke
  • Barrel: 21.4” Reinforced Heavy
  • Body: SWAT 5MW Laser Sight
  • Magazine: 9 RND Tube
  • Stock: Wire Stock

Even in its base form, the Gallo SA12 can puncture countless holes in the undead and crowd control hordes in only a few blasts.

Once you manage to Pack-A-Punch it and turn it into the H-NGM-N, then it becomes game over for almost anything that gets in your way. It has a good clip, reloads quickly enough, and it’s a beast.

2. Stoner 63 / Psychotropic Thunder & attachments

  • Optic: Hawksmoor
  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake 5.56
  • Barrel: 21.8″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Magazine: Fast Mag

Another solid option to decimate enemies is the Stoner 63 LMG. It has good damage, a massive clip, and it’s pretty darn accurate – especially with a 3x Axial Arms scope on it.

Again, punch it so that it becomes the Psychotropic Thunder, and you now have a relentless melting machine that can take down Demented Echoes, Orda, and any other looming threats with greater ease.

3. Krig 6 / Blitzkrig 99 & attachments

  • Optic: Microflex LED
  • Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
  • Barrel: 19.7″ Ranger
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Magazine: 40 Rnd

If you either don’t fancy one of the two weapons above, or you’ve been able to get your hands on the Mule Kick perk, then you’ll need another weapon choice.

Our pick would be the Krig 6. We already think it’s the best gun to use in Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer. It’s stupidly accurate, and its upgraded form – the Blitzkrig 99 – comes with a much handier ammo belt, making it more versatile and viable.

Best Outbreak Field Upgrade in Cold War

Picking the correct Field Upgrade beforehand is extremely important, and we feel that one stands head and shoulders above the rest – Healing Aura.

Aside from the obvious restorative benefits that this piece of Field Upgrade offers, it has one key ability that makes it so incredibly useful.

Players are able to trigger the equipment and can potentially revive their three teammates from downed states, instantly. This is an absolute game-changer, especially for the later rounds of Outbreak.

Best Outbreak Zombies perks

To round off the perfect Outbreak loadout, you’ll want to have the best perks possible. Now, given that there’s no power to turn on or doors to buy, it’s a lot easier in Outbreak to accumulate them.

So we’re just going to direct you to the three most vital ones that you should have by the end of round two at the very least.

Perk 1 – Speed Cola

Whether it’s a Shotgun or an LMG, faster reloading is absolutely essential. No one likes standing there on the spot, exposed, not firing any bullets. You also get faster weapon switching too if you feel like reloading is not an option.

Perk 2 – Deadshot Daiquiri

Scoring headshots with the Shotgun and Deadshot Daquiri equipped is going to inflict unreal damage on the undead and almost certainly put them in the ground for good. Upgrade it enough with Aetherium Crystals, and your hip-fire accuracy gets better too.

Perk 3 – Jugger-Nog

It had to be, didn’t it? You simply can’t turn your head at more health. Upgrade the legendary Jugger-Nog perk and you’ll become even more durable.

This completes our best Outbreak loadout and we believe it will help you go a long way to achieving success in Season 4.
