In Baldur’s Gate 3, there are thousands of ways you can play. Some characters give you more options than others, and Fighters can become absolute killing machines given certain conditions. Now, a player has destroyed the game’s hardest boss, using only a Fighter, in just two turns.

Baldur’s Gate 3 gives you freedom of choice to build your own Hero of the Realms, and as with any D&D campaign, there are overpowered builds that can break the game. Certain players have already completed the game several times, but now, one player seems to have defeated Baldur’s Gate 3’s toughest boss using the Fighter class.

Fighters are one of the most brutal and dangerous combatants in all Faerûn, and in Baldur’s Gate 3, they tend to be absolutely overpowering. A YouTuber named Thorusin has uploaded a video of their gameplay using a Fighter to brutally beat the most challenging boss in the whole game.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Thorusin not only slays Raphael, the Archdevil in his own house, but humiliates him by destroying a horde of his Cambion minions and the War Devil Yurgir, another boss rank enemy allied with him. This fight is one of the outcomes you can reach later during your gameplay in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3.

To beat this Baldur’s Gate 3 boss, they used the Mythical bow Gontr Mael, one of the best weapons in the game. Then Thorusin used a combination of Amulet of Branding, which applies weakness to piercing damage. With action Surge and the Haste feature of the bow maximizing their damage output with nine actions per turn.

They didn’t stop there, as Thorusin even started the fight using an Arrow of Fiend Slaying coated in Crawler Mucus Poison to cause Paralysis on Raphael. To humiliate him even more, Thorusin was wearing the Killer’s Sweetheart Ring, which guarantees a critical each time you take down a foe. Using Arrow of Many Targets several times constantly triggered this condition, causing it to deal tons of damage.
