Larian Studios hid lots of Easter eggs throughout the world of Baldur’s Gate 3, but there’s one that has led players to discover a whole new region that hides one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has plenty of secret content to discover while traveling through Faerun. Some of them are hidden in dialogues, while others are simply shown after a specific sequence of choices that will lead your characters to secret areas.

In the Reddit post called “640 hours in and still something new,” a player was mindblown to find a whole new region that hides one of the best weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3.

“I’m 500 hours in, and I’m almost afraid to ask but… can somebody ELI5 what’s going on here?,” asked Redditor ‘Proteinstains.’

While OP’s screenshot just shows a portion of the hidden dinosaur area, other Baldur’s Gate 3 fans explained how to get to the region while exploring the Circus of the Last Days in Act 3.

“Talk to the Djinn in the Circus of Act 3, and make sure you win the jackpot by stealing the Djinn’s that he uses to cheat you out of prizes,” described Redditor ‘Xormak.’ After doing so and winning the jackpot, the Djinn will teleport the player to a secret jungle filled with dinosaurs that will try to devour them.

According to Baldur’s Gate 3 fans, if players survive long enough to explore the whole area, they’ll be able to get the “Nyrluna,” a Legendary Trident that’s in the chest next to the portal that allows players to get back to the main campaign.

Players also warned that there are other outcomes to trying to trick the Djinn. If players fail to pickpocket him while trying to get his ring, he’ll turn players into a wheel of cheese. “I pissed off the guy to see what would happen and laughed SO hard when I was cheese,” commented Redditor ‘NoodlyNoodling.’

And that’s everything about the secret region Baldur’s Gate 3 players are just discovering after 640 hours. If you want to know more about Larian Studios’ RPG, you can check why players want more Cleric deity options and what major mistake players are making during the Gauntlet of Shar.
