A Baldur’s Gate 3 player has discovered a new way to save Skickpit from the bullies when people first meet him.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has been hailed as one of the best games of recent times as its intricate storyline and characters have been crucial in its commendable 2023 Game of the Year feat. With players still praising its attention to detail, more and more people are discovering new mechanics to this date.

BG3 is a game of dozens of unique interactions as one of the interesting encounters in Act 1 involves a helpless character named Skickpit. However, one player has shown a simple way to save Skickpit that they discovered randomly during their playthrough.

Reddit user ‘bmrtt’ shared this trick on the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit as they claimed that you can kill both the bullies “without actually attacking” them quite easily by simply poisoning them. As Skickpit refills their drinks from the Keg beside the stairs, players can simply add poison to it to indirectly kill them, according to the OP.

“This is actually very useful since while they’re not difficult to kill, you can easily aggro the whole camp, and get quickly overwhelmed, especially in Honour Mode,” added the OP as they claimed that the “attention to detail” in Baldur’s Gate 3 is amazing.

This is the first interaction Baldur’s Gate 3 players will have with Skickpit in Act 1. Although they can save Skickpit from the bullies by attacking the bullies directly, the OP’s method follows an assassination approach to prevent unwanted chaos.

Other players were quite impressed with this find as one of them claimed how “amazing” this method was. They even added how they were “embarrassed” to not think of it themselves despite using this strategy for other camps.

Some were so impressed with this method that they were even “tempted to reload a save” to have a try at it, while others pointed out that this method was Skickpit’s original plan if players did not intervene.
