You’ll need to get to Act 2 before looking for the Callous Glow Ring in Baldur’s Gate 3. Here are the steps you’ll have to follow to get where the ring is stashed:

Go to the Last Light Inn and get Selune’s blessing to explore the Shadow-Cursed Lands. You can also explore the area if you manage to get a Moon Lantern.
Head to the Gauntlet of Shar in X:-758, Y: -749. To enter, you’ll need to enter the Thorm’s Mausoleum (X:-118, Y: 112) and solve its puzzle.
Go to the Treasure Room at X:-820m Y: -750, which is located next to Balthazar’s office.
Lock pick the door, which its difficulty class is 30. After entering, you can loot three Opulent chests where you’ll find the Callous Glow Ring.
