Baldur's Gate 3 Arfur Gregorio, the toymaker at Rivington.

Right after getting to Act 3, you’ll find more threats to refugees waiting in Baldur’s Gate city. If you’re looking to find the responsible behind this, you’ll need to complete the “Investigate the Suspicious Toys” mission in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Act 3 has dozens of quests that will scream for players’ attention as soon as they arrive at Rivington. One of the first that will catch the characters’ eye is “Investigate the Suspicious Toys,” which will soon reveal that there’s an awful plot to give refugee children teddy bears full of explosives.

To put a stop to this and complete the “Investigate the Suspicious Toys” full quest in Baldur’s Gate 3, here’s what you need to do.

How to get the “Investigate the Suspicious Toys” quest in Baldur’s Gate 3

In Baldur’s Gate 3, you can start the “Investigate the Suspicious Toys” quest by exploring the Requisitioned Barn in southeast Rivington (X: 62, Y: 113). You can either try to speak to Manip Nestor or simply sneak inside.

How to solve the “Investigate the Suspicious Toys” quest in Baldur’s Gate 3

After getting to the Requisitioned Barn in Baldur’s Gate 3 Act 3, go to the northern corner of the barn where you’ll see a crate full of toy bears. After passing an Investigation check, players will find that the crate is trapped.

Manip Nestor will ask you what’s going on, and after passing a Persuasion DC 15 or Deception DC 20, you’ll get to convince the Flaming Fist that you aren’t responsible for the bears. After that, you’ll need to explore Rivington and Baldur’s Gate city to investigate further, so here’s what you need to do:

  1. Go to Arfur Gregorio’s house, who will be arguing with a refugee. If you head inside his mansion, you’ll get to see a hidden hatch at X:39, Y:-71.
  2. After climbing down the hatch, you’ll discover a letter implicating Arfur in the explosive toys scheme. If you sided with Arfur, you can confront him to learn what’s happening, but if you sided with the refugee, you can look for him at Sharess’ Caress (X: 10, Y: 82).
  3. Go to Felogyr’s Fireworks (X:14, Y: -127) following Arfur’s clues.
  4. Speak to Avery Sonshal, and give him the password that Arfur’s told you about. You can head upstairs, but you’ll need to fight your way up.

After defeating every enemy, you’ll find out that Felogyr’s Fireworks was the main base of the nefarious operation against refugees.

And that’s everything about the “Investigate the Suspicious Toys” quest in Baldur’s Gate 3. If you want to know more about Larian Studios’ RPG, you can check our guides below:
