Baldur’s Gate 3 just got a small hotfix that addresses issues related to save game corruption and different types of crashes following Patch 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was released in a fully playable state, with the majority of players facing no issues with the game. However, with an RPG this massive and ambitious, it was bound to have bugs and other issues. Fortunately, Larian have been consistently and quickly releasing patches and hotfixes to address these problems.

Hotfix 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 aims to fix some major bugs, like crashes and save files getting corrupted. This may not affect you at all, but for those who experienced these bugs, it will be an immense relief. Unlike Patch 3, it doesn’t add any new features, like the Magic Mirror, nor does it alter any existing ones.

Everything changed in Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 7

Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 7 is a minor patch that fixes some of the most pressing issues, like crashes and save game corruption. It doesn’t address some of the complaints players had with Patch 3, like the shared stash update, for instance.

There’s only a small list of fixes this time, but it can be vital for those who have been unable to play the game. This includes bugs related to your save games, items getting corrupted and crashing the game, characters and items getting duplicated, and even bugs that affect multiplayer co-op sessions.
