Will Atomic Heart be on Xbox Game Pass?
Atomic Heart is finally due to arrive on shelves this February, but Xbox users will be wondering if the bold FPS will be joining the Game Pass library. Here’s everything you need to know about Atomic Heart on Xbox Game Pass.
Atomic Heart is the ambitious debut from developer Mundfish, who are looking to combine the best bits of games like Bioshock and Half Life into a brutal FPS title set in a gorgeous open world.
After a lengthy development hit by delays, Atomic Heart is finally set to launch in February and is already one of 2023’s most-anticipated games. But like with most new releases, Xbox fans will have their fingers crossed that it will be included in their Game Pass membership.

Is Atomic Heart coming to Xbox Game Pass?
Great news for Microsoft fans, Atomic Heart will be on Xbox Game Pass from day one. This means anyone subscribed to the service can drop into the game as soon it arrives at midnight on February 21, 2023.
Those looking to get a fast start can even begin preloading Atomic Heart right now to minimize the number of updates that must be downloaded on the day. Although, it’s worth noting that the day-one patch will likely need to be installed closer to the release date.
Unlike recent titles like High on Life, although Atomic Heart is hitting Game Pass right away, it is not an Xbox console-exclusive release. Unfortunately, though, PS5 and PS4 owners will be forced to purchase the game at full price for $59.99 (£54.99).
PC users will also have to buy Atomic Heart for themselves unless they are subscribed to the PC version of Game Pass, in which case they can download and play for free as part of their monthly plan.
There is no word just yet on how long Atomic Heart will remain in the Game Pass library after launch, but even if there are plans to take it down eventually, we’d expect players to have many months before they have to worry about losing access.
