Following the excitement of the Warzone Call of Duty: Vanguard reveal event, players are asking the developers to implement more PVE game modes in the future.

Call of Duty: Vanguard promises a fresh, exciting reboot for Warzone, with a whole new map and anti-cheat system when the two titles finally integrate.

The Battle of Verdansk Warzone event, which revealed the trailer for Vanguard in-game, was the first glimpse players were given at the upcoming CoD.

Of course, players were excited about the reveal and subsequent information that was released after the event. However, some were more concerned with letting the devs know Warzone needed more PVE modes.

The Battle of Vanguard event saw players dropping into Verdansk on the same team with one goal, to destroy the Armoured Train. Players banded together to stop the train, which doesn’t go down easily despite every player spawning in with an RPG.

Once players destroyed the train, a huge fleet of planes covered the sky, bombing down on players until the trailer was eventually revealed.

Players seemed to love this in-game reveal, so much so that Reddit user thepestiIence had to post about it: “I really enjoyed the PvE event yesterday. They should lean in and make crazy PvE modes.”

He’s not the only one that enjoyed the PVE modes either, as one comment read: “I like the idea. It’s a nice break for a less skilled player like myself to actually survive the game for more than a few minutes.”

Some even suggested varying the enemies and objectives, with one comment entertaining the idea of Black Ops Cold War Zombies’ Outbreak mode on Verdansk.

The majority of the community did seem pretty happy with the event. However, many others in the comments seem to think it’s best to keep these PVE modes to special occasions: “yeah, no, please, I don’t want to shoot another train for 50 minutes.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen PVE in Warzone, and we’re sure it won’t be the last, and perhaps the feedback will influence what players will see in Warzone’s future game modes.
