With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players able to catch several returning Legendaries from past Gens in the Indigo Disk DLC, fans have spotted some remarkable details on some of them and they “could never be happier.”

The Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has players hooked as the addition features new Pokemon, the Synchro Machine feature, and several fan-favorite Legendaries to capture.

With the open-world experience in the Terarium of the Blueberry Academy, trainers are eagerly exploring the wilderness alongside their favorite Pokemon and they have spotted a surprising glow-up in the textures of many species in the DLC, with a couple of Gen 2 Legendaries standing out the most.

A user with the handle ‘JagjitSSS’ on the X app (formerly Twitter) posted two images of Suicune, with one showing its model from Pokemon Sword and Shield and the other from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, highlighting that “Suicune looks more lively in this game than any game past and has the CRYSTAL shining like it never did before? AND IT HAS EYELINER IT’S SO SLAY.”

The stark contrast in Suicune’s look was also noticed by several Indigo Disk DLC players, who shared their excitement in the comments.

“I really like the shining crystal tbh,” a user wrote to which the OP replied: “I’m a big fan of Suicune and how it looks! The shining crystal is icing on the cake!”

A fan commented: “what a major glow up” before another added: “The crystal finally looking like a crystal is VERY welcome tho.”

While Suicune’s crystal had many fans, the OP also mentioned another Gen 2 Legendary that received an update to its look: “Entei’s headpiece got shinier!” as another pointed out that Enteir also “gained some muscle.”

One trainer shed light on the kind of upgrade these two Pokemon received. “They (Game Freak) added more specularity and metalness to the textures,” they explained.

Fans expressed that they “could never be happier” with these Legendaries and more Pokemon like Scizor, Magnemite, and the Gen 1 starters looking better than ever. This is undoubtedly a great addition to the Indigo Disk DLC.
