For Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players, the Kitakami Epilogue episode has been quite a blast, with many of them enjoying one last trip with their friends before the curtain falls for Gen 9 games. But players have now discovered one last shocking reveal about Nemona, and they are going nuts about it.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero has released its last content drop titled Kitakami Epilogue, or to be more precise, Mochi Mayhem. It involves traveling with your Pokemon trainer friends to Kitakami to meet Kieran and Carmine.

But one of the members of your party is not who everyone thought she was, and an additional scene has now revealed a hidden truth about Nemona, a character we all know as a rival and friend of the main character.

This was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by SoulSilverArt, with what the fans have called “the biggest revelation” yet. And the truth is, Nemona is not even from Paldea but from an entirely different region.

The Blueberry League base in BB Academy allows you to invite certain people from Paldea to visit the Blueberry Academy and share a piece of their knowledge with the alumni there.

But apparently, when you invite Nemona, a couple of cutscenes reveal that she is pretty familiar with Lacey, one of the Elite four members of the BB Academy.

As you can see in the dialogue, Lacey greets Nemona, stating “It’s been far too long” since they’ve met. Afterward, when questioned by the trainer (by now, twice the champion she is), Nemona reveals that she is originally from the Unova region and moved to Paldea when she was seven.

So there you have it, a shocking truth. Now trainers know that not even half of their Paldean friends are actually from that region. For more context on this, Penny revealed previously that she is from Galar, and recently it was also discovered that she is, in fact, the daughter of Peony, the explorer from the Isle of Armor.

And in case you haven’t played the Epilogue quest already, here’s how to get the new Mythical Pokemon Pecharunt.
