The Pokemon Go Fest Global event is over, but players are still talking about it. During the event, the devs rolled out some quality-of-life improvements that trainers absolutely love.

In 2023, the Pokemon Go player community and Niantic have been at odds regarding certain events and rewards. However, since the latest Pokemon Go Fest Global, trainers have been discussing a lot of quality-of-life improvements that were silently rolled out into the game.

One of them was the “All ready” feature added during Raids. This greatly improved players’ attitude towards the game, with many of them praising the new function as something that caused a tremendously positive impact on their game experience.

Other players sharing their experiences during the Go Fest Global weekend have also stated that they noticed an increase in the Legendary catch rate during Raids. In the Reddit community, one of the players expressed: “This is how all raids should be permanently.”

Niantic boost Legendary catch rate during Go Fest Global event

Niantic increased the catch rate of Legendary Pokemon during the Go Fest Global event, resulting in the community being delighted with its successful Raid hauls.

Another of the players had this to say about the event: “Previous Go Fests I would typically avoid legendary raids cause I was more interested in catching and shiny checking. Raiding during Go Fest eats up a lot of time, between the countdown and the low catch rate. This year fixed both of these issues and I did like a dozen more raids as a result. A very welcome change that I hope becomes the norm for future Go Fest and Tour events.”

While the Go Fest 2023 event is over, the player community is wondering if this will become the norm for future events. So far Niantic haven’t provided any official indication of these changes being permanent.

For the moment, trainers should look forward to the upcoming Season 12 titled: Adventures Abound, and the upcoming release of the Paldean starters in Pokemon Go.
