Dracovish is one of the most distinctive Pokemon ever because Trainers do not catch it with Pokeballs but by combining fossils. Here’s a detailed guide on how to get Dracovish in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Over the years, the Pokemon franchise has changed drastically, and accordingly, a ton of new ways for catching and evolving Pokemon have emerged. A perfect example of the same is Dracovish.

Dracovish is a hybrid Fossil Pokemon in Pokemon Sword and Shield that players can get after combining Fish and Drake fossils. Trainers can either roam around the map and search for these Fossils or get them from NPCs.

In this guide on how to get Dracovish, we’ll cover every method in detail.

How to unlock Dracovish in Pokemon Sword and Shield

You need to collect Fossilized Fish and Fossilized Drake to get Dracovish in Pokemon Go. There are three major locations where you can obtain these items.

Where to get fossils in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Digging Duo

The Digging Duo in the Bridge Field region is basically two brothers who’ll dig and give you treasures for 500 Watts. At times, these treasures will include fossils that will eventually help in getting Dracovish.

The Digging Duo in Pokemon Sword and Shield comprises Skill Brother and Stamina Brother. The Skill Brother is better if you want to get fossils.

The exact location of the Digging Duo is marked in the image below:

Hammerlocke

Follow these steps to get Dracovish fossils from the Hammerlocke region in Pokemon Sword and Shield:

  1. Enter Hammerlocke and go down route 6.
  2. Pass the first ladder near the grass and climb the next ladder you see.
  3. Go to the left where you’ll find another ladder. Climb it and you’ll reach a Pokemon camp.
  4. Go behind the mound and you’ll see something shining. Interact with the light and you’ll get two fossils.

The region mentioned above is also depicted in this image:

Do note that this is also the region where you can interact with an NPC to combine fossils.

Stow-on-Side

Enter the Pokemon Center in the Stow-on-Side region to get Dracovish’s fossils in Pokemon Sword and Shield. There’s an NPC on the left wearing green pants. Interact with him and he’ll give you two fossils.

In Pokemon Sword, the NPC will hand out Fossilized Bird while in Pokemon Shield, he will give you Fossilized Drake.
