Palworld beginning

Leather is one of the most valuable materials in Palworld, as it’s an essential resource for almost every job. So, here’s how to get Leather in Palworld.

While many are comparing Palworld to Pokemon, Pocketpair’s survival game offers an experience that’s heavy on crafting and survival.

In the first hours of Palworld, players have much to discover thanks to interesting creatures, buildings, tools, and resources. Before they try to take on bosses, players will need to create bases and put Pals to work.

If you’re looking for Leather in Palworld, here’s how to get it.

Where to find Leather in Palworld

You can get Leather in Palworld by capturing or defeating Pals that drop Leather or by purchasing it from merchants.

Although encountering Wandering Merchants in Palworld might be a rare situation, you can always fast-travel to the Small Settlement and buy Leather from him for 150 coins each. So we would advise you to unlock his fast travel point as soon as possible.

Alternatively, you can check your Paldeck to see which species drop Leather. This will show you their habitat so you can narrow your search down.

Both these species can be found in the southern forest, which appears yellowish on the map, and you can farm them constantly for Lather, and even Bones in Palworld. However, if you want additional Leather drops, you can butcher them using the Cleaver after catching them.

And there you have it! You can now gather Leather to craft armor and other useful items. For more Palworld content, check out some of our other guides:
