The second Call of Duty Zombies comic series has just received its third issue.

On 19 December, Dark Horse comics has released “Call of Duty: Zombies 2 #3” both digitally and physically.

Issue #3 follows Diego Necalli from the IX and Voyage of Despair Zombies maps in Black Ops 4. The description for the issue reads:

This marks the third comic in the prequel mini-series that sheds additional light on characters from the Chaos storyline in Black Ops 4 Zombies. Issue #1 released on 5 September focused on Bruno, while Issue #2 starred Shaw and hit stores 17 October.

Issue #4 is expected to come out 9 January and presumably will focus on Scarlet.

All four issues have story provided by Treyarch developers Jason Blundell and Craig Houston, with Justin Jordan serving as writer, Andres Ponce as Penciler, Mauro Vargas as Inker, Dan Jackson asColorist, and E. M. Gist providing cover art.

Issue #3 is available now for $3.99 digitally and $5.99 physically. Fans can also expect a collected paperback edition of all four issues on 14 May for $17.99.

This isn’t the first time Call of Duty Zombies featured its own comic series. 2017’s Call of Duty Zombies six part series focused on the Tranzit crew and showcased what happened to them after the events of Black Ops 2.
