Destiny 2: How to Unlock Europa armor and weapons in Beyond Light
Destiny 2’s newest expansion will take you to the icy cold moon of Jupiter called Europa. This also includes a unique armor set and weapons. Here’s what you need to know about getting your hands on them.
Beyond Light has been out for a while and its world is full of wonder and secrets as there is still plenty to explore. Though, you can find many new enemies, hidden loot, unique locations along with special armor and weapons that can be earned through exploring the new expansion.
This includes the Europa Armor set which is designed to suit every class. There are also a total of eight Legendary weapons to find. These all come with their own perks as well and unlocking them isn’t too difficult, but it will take up a lot of time. This is how to earn them both.
How to Unlock Europa armor
First thing’s first, you will need to complete the Beyond Light campaign. This will unlock four side quests for four separate pieces of armor. You can view these at the bottom of Variks the Loyal’s inventory and they are:
- Riis-Reborn Approach, Technocrat’s Iron (Chestpiece)
- Bray Exoscience, Eternity (Arms)
- Bray Exoscience (Legs)
- Perdition (Class item)
Unlocking the helm will require more hard work. Once you’ve finished the campaign and taken down Eramis, you will unlock a new mission type known as the Empire Hunt. These will have you go after Kridis and are relatively easy to get through.
You will be heading across different locations on Europa to find chests. These will be easily identified by their signature blue shield and you will need to have your Stasis subclass equipped to access them. The one you should find to unlock the helm is Nexus, Well of Infinitude.
Once you’ve found all of these, return to Variks in order to get the armor pieces.
How to Unlock Europa Weapons
You can earn a few of the legendary weapons from Variks right off the bat by just finishing the Beyond Light campaign. As you play, you will gradually unlock the Hailing Confusion pulse rifle, Bonechiller shotgun, and Subzero Salvo launcher.
Completing the Empire Hunt missions will unlock three more weapons. The Thermal Erosion machine gun will be unlocked by taking down Phylaks in “The Warrior.” The Coriolis Force fusion rifle is your reward for completing “The Technocrat” and finally, you will get the Biting Winds bow after finishing “The Dark Priestess.”
The remaining two legendary weapons are the Arctic Haze auto rifle and High Albedo sidearm. We have yet to find what tasks you have to perform in the process of collecting either of these at the moment.
That covers everything you need to know about unlocking the Europa-themed Armor sets and Weapons in Destiny 2: Blinding Light.
There is plenty more loot that you can find by exploring the massive map and engaging in the different types of missions that are available.
