Is NBA 2K24 on Xbox Game Pass?

Many NBA fans wonder if NBA 2K24 is already available to play for free on Xbox Game Pass. Here are all the details you need to know about whether NBA 2K24 is in the Game Pass library or not.

NBA 2K24 is already underway, and players have had plenty of time to explore all the new features and changes. Some have even completed the Season 2 Pass and claimed the new 94 OVR Wilt Chamberlain for their MyTeam roster.

In addition to building their dream team with current players and basketball legends, fans can become the new NBA GOAT through the MyCareer mode. However, to do so, they need to purchase and play any of the three editions of NBA 2K24.

However, a group of fans who do not yet have the new NBA 2K24 in their library wonders if it’s possible to play the new 2K Games title for free through the Xbox Game Pass.

Can you get NBA 2K24 on Xbox Game Pass?

As of November 9, 2023, NBA 2K24 is still not available on Xbox Game Pass. However, if we look at previous installments and compare it to what 2K Games did with other editions of the franchise, it is highly likely that NBA 2K24 will be available in the future.

In the previous NBA 2K installments, Game Pass subscribers received a free-to-play weekend. NBA 2K24 was released on September 8, 2023, eventually, Xbox Game Pass users will likely be able to play the game for free, but not until 2024.

When it comes to NBA 2K23, it was never permanently in the Game Pass library, but it had a free-to-play weekend in February 2023 for Game Pass subscribers, so it’s expected that they will repeat the pattern for this new game.
