When you enter the paint, the Euro-step will help you avoid the taller defenders in NBA 2K24, and it will also provide great entertainment for fans on the court. Here’s everything you need to know to execute the Euro-step in NBA 2K24.

NBA 2K24 offers players a wide range of moves to help them succeed in every play, both on offense and defense. Regarding offense, you know that if the opponents have a tough defense, the best you can do before attempting a forced three-point shot is to break through the defense and attack the rim.

Once you manage to get into the paint, you’ll need to decide whether you’re going for a layup or a dunk. There are also many moves you can execute in NBA 2K24, such as the Hop step, reverse shot, quick scoop, and many more. Among them is the famous Euro step or Two-step shot.

NBA 2K24: How to do Euro-step layup

There are two ways to perform a Euro-step layup in NBA 2K24. As you approach the basket, you need to double-tap the Square button on PlayStation or the X button on Xbox controllers while directing the Euro-step with the Left Stick.

The other input is very similar, with the only difference being that, when entering the paint area, instead of pressing any button, you should move the Right Stick to the right and quickly flick it toward the off-hand direction while directing the movement using the Left Stick.

NBA 2K24: How to do Euro-step dunk

To finish the Euro-step with a dunk, you should repeat either of the two methods mentioned above, but when your player takes the first step, quickly press the speed button (R2 on PlayStation / RT on Xbox controllers). This way, instead of completing the movement with a layup, your player will perform a higher jump and finish with a spectacular dunk.
