Leaked map Village for Modern Warfare is a new map, not MW3 remake

The game files for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC leaked a new map that is rumored to debut with Season 3 for the game and is called Village.

Many of us assumed it would be a remake of the Modern Warfare 3’s map called Village since it shares the same name, but now, a data miner has found the mini map for this new Village map in MW’s game files and it is not the same map as was in MW3.

It appears to be a brand new three lane map coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare soon.

Here’s the loading screen for this Village map, which was also in the game files, and it does look different than MW3’s Village map.

Season 3 begins April 8. More info to come.
