The fan-favorite Ultimate Team, Franchise, and Superstar modes are all set to return in Madden 25, and players can play before the official release thanks to early access.

If you’re eager to hit the gridiron as quickly as possible, here’s a look at how to play Madden 25 early.

How to play Madden 25 early

Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition or the MVP Bundle of Madden 25 will get to play three days early as of August 13, 2024. Alternatively, fans with an EA Play or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will be granted a 10-hour game trial that also becomes available as of August 13.

The full official release of Madden 25 is scheduled for August 16, meaning those with early access from the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle will get a head start on the competition by playing on August 13, 14, and 15.

Madden 25 pre-order options
Certain rewards from the Deluxe Edition are not available with the MVP Bundle.

With so many options to choose from, deciding which edition to purchase is more complex than ever this year. Luckily, the game remains available on a wide variety of platforms including the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. This gives every type of player a shot at becoming a champion in Franchise mode.

The MVP Bundle will appeal to diehard football fans as it features the Deluxe Editions of both College Football 25 and Madden 25.

While the Madden early access period begins on Agust 13, the EA Sports College Football early access period starts on July 16. This gives players the perfect opportunity to scratch their football itch before Madden 25’s full launch.
