Franchise mode in Madden 25 brings many new features to the table along with the team relocation option from Madden 24.

With Team Builder‘s introduction to the series, the latest iteration of Franchise offers more customization options than ever before. Aside from being able to change your team’s uniforms, logos, roster, ratings, and more, you can also choose to relocate them to a different city.

With this in mind, here’s how to relocate your team in Madden 25.

You can also upgrade your current stadium instead of relocating.

By relocating a team, you can rebrand your franchise and tap into a new market. This feature is especially useful if your fanbase is displeased with the current home stadium or if you’re looking to start a unique journey.

It’ll take a few in-game weeks until the move is completed so keep an eye out for weekly tasks that need to be completed as part of the relocation.

While relocating in Madden 25, try to pick a city with a large Market Size to get the best return on your investment. Also, pay attention to the city’s personality to get a gauge of how the locals will react to your success or failure on the field.

Fan Happiness is an important factor when attempting to relocate teams to a different city. Their happiness is directly impacted by the Stadium Rating, as fans won’t hide their disappointment if the facility is dingy or outdated.

This is why it’s easier to relocate teams with a Stadium Rating below 20 as the fanbase will welcome the move with open arms. In contrast, you’ll see a decline in Fan Happiness while attempting to move away from a highly-rated stadium.
