Warzone 2 made many changes to the way in which movement works, including preventing players from sprinting while plating up. Now, players have found a way to bypass this change.

Warzone 2 brought a lot of changes to the battle royale, especially when it comes to the way in which players move about the map.

For Warzone 2, the devs decided to remove the popular movement technique of Slide Canceling to prevent players from constantly sliding around Al Mazrah. The community wasn’t too happy about this change, as the technique became a big aspect of the game’s movement.

The devs also decided to remove the player’s ability to put armor plates on while running, however, some in the community have managed to figure out a way to bypass this.

Warzone player nahvitron claims that they are the first to have found a way to “run while plating up in Warzone 2,” and the method to performing this isn’t too difficult.

How to run while using armor plates in Warzone 2

In order to run while planting up in Warzone 2, simply follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you have armor plates
  2. Start running
  3. Then just as you’re about to put the plates on, start jumping at the same time
  4. Your Operator should start running after the second plate goes on

This little trick is fairly easy to perform and can be seriously helpful when trying to get out of sticky situations while also healing up at the same time.

It may take some time to master, but once you do, you can use this technique to outplay your opponents and help protect yourself in situations where you may have previously been eliminated. You never know, it could just earn you your next victory on Warzone 2‘s Al Mazrah.
