Helldivers 2 has been hit with some server issues, and players have been getting a ‘-1’ error code. What does it mean, and can you do anything about it?

Helldivers 2 recently released a new patch that fixed some issues, including the recent problems with players’ Super Credits disappearing. Now, players are unable to get into the game and are hit with the ‘-1’ error code when they do try.

Players have been taking to social media to try and figure out what’s happening, as it looks like the servers are down. So, what is the ‘-1’ error in Helldivers 2, and can it be fixed? Here is everything you need to know.

Helldivers 2 -1 error code

Helldivers 2 players have been unable to log into the game due to an error code ‘-1’. This has been occurring after Patch 1.000.13 was released on February 28, 2024.

The devs are aware of the issue and working on a fix.

Fans took to the Helldivers 2 Discord to try and figure out what was going on, and it seems that most are unable to get into the game. However, some managed to log in just after the patch released, players have been advising those to stay in the game for now.

The devs have not been quiet, though, and they are aware of the issue. In a post on the Helldivers 2 Discord, they explained that they’re looking into it, but don’t have answers right now.

“We´re aware of the error code ‘-1’ and are investigating it! We´ll update as soon as we know more. Hang in there, Helldivers!” they said in the Discord.

It is unknown for now how long this issue will persist for, but some players seem able to get in if they practice some patience and continue to try logging in. We will keep you updated as more information comes forward.
