Players in TopSpin 2K25 MyCareer mode should always keep an eye on their player’s energy level since constantly playing matches can lead to injuries.

TopSpin 2K25 brings different offline and online game modes for you to have a great time. However, no game mode stands out as much as MyCareer, where you can create your own players and turn them into the best in the tour.

Unlike other titles in the franchise, TopSpin 2K25 introduces an injury system, which it’s best to know about to avoid missing out on the most important tournaments.

TopSpin 2K25 energy system explained

In TopSpin 2K25 MyCareer, the energy level changes constantly, and there are several factors that can cause your energy to decrease. The main factor is obviously playing matches, but you may also notice your player’s energy level decrease after training, participating in Special Events, or traveling to a new location.

The fatigue generated by all of this cannot be overlooked, as a low energy level makes your player more prone to injuries.

How to avoid injuries in TopSpin 2K25 MyCareer

To prevent injuries in TopSpin 2K25 MyCareer mode, you should always have your Energy level above 35% when starting a match. This way, you won’t run any risk of injury.

If you have less than 35% Energy, we recommend skipping the tournament and resting. This way, you may lose some rankings on the Tour, but you’ll avoid a possible injury that could keep you out for much longer.

How to heal Minor injuries in TopSpin 2K25

To heal from a Minor Injury in TopSpin 2K25 MyCareer, you need to get your Energy back to 100% or let a few months pass for the injury to heal itself.

Minor injuries will appear at the end of a match if you started it with less than 35% Energy. These injuries allow you to continue playing, but you’ll notice a significant decrease in your player’s attributes.

How to heal Major injuries in TopSpin 2K25

In order to heal your player from a Major Injury in TopSpin 2K25 MyCareer, you must rest for the time specified by the injury (between two to four months depending on the severity of the injury).

Players suffer Major Injuries if they start a match with less than 15% of the Energy level, and unlike minor injuries, the Major ones prevent you from playing. So it’s never a good idea to risk playing a match with less than 15% energy.

So now you know, that was everything you need to know about energy level and injuries in TopSpin 2K25 MyCareer mode. For more on the game, check out our related guides:
