Are Sons of the Forest servers down? Current server status
With the release of Endnight Games’ highly anticipated Sons of the Forest survival horror game, most are looking to enjoy the experience with a friend, but how are the servers holding up?
The multiplayer feature of Endnight Games’ survival horrors is the most enticing aspect of these titles, and now that Sons of the Forest is finally here, players are wondering how the servers are holding up.
As Steam’s most wish-listed title, it’s likely that Sons of the Forest players will experience some issues connecting to the game’s servers, so let’s see how they’re holding up.
Sons of the Forest server status
The servers go live on February 23, 2023, at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT, so we expect to know just how the servers will hold up at this time.
You can check the server status using SteamDB, which provides data on breakdowns and the player count. You should also keep an eye out on Endnight Games’ Twitter account, which will probably provide updates on the game’s issues.
What’s clear is that the game is releasing in early access, and the demand is extremely high with lots of players looking forward to playing with their friends online as soon as it drops.
The servers are likely to be stressed with the sheer amount of players, but hopefully, Endnight Games have thought the release through and have adequate servers to keep up with the demand.
