Pokemon Scarlet & Violet player OHKOs Mighty Blaziken Raid with classic Mon

The latest Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Tera Raid Battle is currently active, and players all over the world are trying to take down Blaziken the Mighty. But a team of players has managed an impressive OH-KO against this beast, using the most unlikely Pokemon in the roster.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has delivered its final episode with the Kitakami Epilogue Mochi Mayhem Quest, and the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is ready to close the curtain. But players are still enjoying the latest PvE cooperative activities the game has to offer, such as Tera Raid Battles.

The Mighty Blaziken is the currently active 7-Star Raid in the game, and a group of players have decided to face it using the strangest of combinations alongside a classic Mon as the flagship attacker.

Here’s how this group of intrepid trainers has beaten the Mighty Blaziken with an impressive OH-KO dealt by the most beloved Mon in the franchise: Pikachu.

The video was posted by Reddit user ‘ossie000’ in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet subreddit, and the community was surprised to witness this incredible takedown, all carefully strategized by a team of skilled Pokemon trainers.

As you can see in the video posted above, and as explained by the OP, the strategy goes like this:

• Golduck uses Simple Beam on Blaziken to change its ability.
• Scovillain uses spicy extract to give +4 ATK and -4 DEF on Blaziken (in combination with Simple).
• Pikachu has a mirror herb and gets on +4 after the spicy extract.
• Oranguru gives its light ball to Pikachu through Symbiosis after the mirror herb gets consumed and it does an Attack cheer.
• And then Pikachu Volt Tackles the Blaziken into oblivion.

The strategy is certainly effective, but also, quite difficult to replicate. As one of the Pokemon trainers in this post said: “The only difficult thing is trying to get people to cooperate and use support moves.”
