For a game like Dragon’s Dogma 2, it’s always essential that you save your progress so that you can safely leave the game without losing progress. So here’s a quick guide on how to save your game in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and how to delete your save if you need a fresh start.

The world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is filled with dangers, and there are monsters lurking around every corner. So if you don’t want to lose out on a chunk of progress, it’s important that you save your game whenever you can.

Considering that it’s a single-player title, there are different ways to save your game in Dragon’s Dogma 2, some of which happen automatically, and some that you can trigger manually.

So what are these different types of saves in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and how do you save your progress in the game?

How to save your game manually in Dragon’s Dogma 2

To manually save your game in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to:

  1. Head into the Pause Menu.
  2. Navigate to System.
  3. Select the Save option.

When you select the Save option, you will notice that you get to choose between the following choices:

  • Save and Continue: Allows you to continue your game from where you left off.
  • Save and Return to Title Screen: Takes you back to the title screen, but your progress is stored up to the point where you triggered the save.
  • Return to Title Screen without saving: Takes you back to the title screen but your progress isn’t saved manually.

Does Dragon’s Dogma 2 have autosave?

Yes, Dragon’s Dogma 2 has an autosave feature that triggers automatically whenever you discover a new area or at the end of a difficult fight.

You can also make your way to an inn or your home in the game and rest for a certain period of time. Whenever you do so, the game will automatically save your progress.

However, it’s worth remembering that when you log in and load the game, you will be given an option to “load from the last inn rest.”

If you haven’t rested in an inn for a while do not select this option because you will lose any progress that you had made after resting at the inn. You cannot go to your manual saves, because if you load from the last inn rest, it locks you out of the other saves that you had made.

Although there’s no way of starting a new game, you can always delete your save games and start your adventure afresh.

That sums up everything that you need to know about saving your progress in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For more information about the game, be sure to check out the following links:
