Star Wars: Hunters is now playable on Android and iOS mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch, and here’s everything to know about playing the title on PC and whether you can get banned for it.

Star Wars: Hunters had a relatively silent launch but it has gradually gained traction after releasing worldwide and now boasts over 1 million downloads on the Google Play Store alone. iOS devices like iPhones and iPads and the Nintendo Switch are supported platforms as well, but official support for PC hasn’t been announced yet.

If you still want to enjoy Star Wars: Hunters on a big screen with a keyboard and mouse setup, here’s how to play the game on PC and whether the developers can ban you for doing so.

Option to install Star Wars: Hunters on PC
Emulators can help you play a wide range of Android games on laptops and PCs.

Following installation, you can run Star Wars: Hunters on your PC and Bluestacks should display the keyboard and mouse layout that you’ll use to play the game.

While personalizing your settings is recommended, most players would want to turn off auto fire off from in-game settings and remember to press F1 to bring back the cursor on screen as it activates mouse aiming.

The title officially supports controllers too so you can use a gamepad to play it. Make sure you go to Settings > Gamepad and turn on Gamepad Detection. Upon doing so, if you’re using a compatible controller, Bluestacks will automatically detect it and show the controls.

While we were able to download Star Wars: Hunter on PC through BlueStacks X which is the latest version of the app, you can also choose to try out BlueStacks 5 if you run into installation errors or frequent crashes.

Other Android emulator apps like GameLoop and LDPlayer 9 exist, but many have reported that these alternatives either lack proper support or have performance issues for now.

Can you get banned for playing Star Wars: Hunters on PC?

While Star Wars: Hunters developers haven’t explicitly mentioned that using BlueStacks or other Android emulators can get you a ban, it is a multiplayer game and the PvP gameplay certainly becomes unfair with the inclusion of PC players.

From better timing and controls to performance and display size, playing on a PC comes with many obvious advantages and it cannot be guaranteed that exploiting these won’t get you banned. Previously, some CoD: Mobile players have complained about getting banned because they were playing the game on a PC through emulation.

All in all, you can either start your Star Wars: Hunters journey with a PC right away or wait for the developers to release an official version. Regardless of the platform, you’d want to check out the list of all the characters and game modes in the game as well as a tier list of the best Tanks.
