Want to own a house and have your own rest spot in No Rest for the Wicked? Here’s how you can get your own home in the game.

Crafting and resting are all major aspects of No Rest for the Wicked as you need to be in pristine condition before heading off to take on vicious enemies in Isola Sacra, so getting a house is always recommended once you make your way to Sacrament.

On that note, here’s how you can purchase a house in No Rest for the Wicked.

No Rest for the Wicked: How to unlock houses

To unlock houses in No Rest for the Wicked, you will need to complete the Of Rats and Raiders quest by defeating Falstead Darak in The Black Trench. Once you have put the quest out of your way, you will finally be eligible to buy houses in the game.

Of Rats and Raiders is a fairly easy quest if you have grown accustomed to the game’s combat system. It might be a little complex finding Darak, in the sewers in Orban Glades, but defeating him should not be that difficult in this stage of No Rest for the Wicked.

No Rest for the Wicked: How to buy houses

Once you have defeated Darak in No Rest for the Wicked, simply approach an available estate in Sacrament with a sign at the front and interact with it to purchase it. You can find icons of such properties on your map as well.

As of writing, there are three purchasable properties in the game. They are:

  • The Manor: 30 Silver
  • The Roost: 20 Silver
  • The Homestead: 25 Silver

The Manor is the closest to the fast travel point in this area and also the most expensive out of all three in No Rest for the Wicked. However, as it is not a time-gated activity, you can take as much time as you need to collect the funds before making the purchase.

Is buying a house worth it in No Rest for the Wicked?

Yes, buying a house is definitely worth it, and is highly recommended for enhancing the RPG experience in No Rest for the Wicked. Purchasing a house not only grants you a space for resting whenever you want but also provides storage and meets all your crafting needs.

You can interact with Danos and Whittacker, the two vendors who are essential for customizing your newly acquired house, to get everything you need to turn it into your ideal home. And there you have it, that was everything you needed to know about houses in No Rest for the Wicked.
