Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will allow players to once more visit the popular wizarding world that they know and love. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming game including key dates and playtest details.
Harry Potter fans will be pleased to hear that a standalone Quidditch experience is in development over at WB Games. The critically acclaimed Hogwarts Legacy introduced players to a vast wizarding universe, but the game was devoid of the quintessential Quidditch experience.
While Hogwarts Legacy players had the chance to fly around on a broom, Quidditch Champions will take things to a whole new level by offering a competitive Quidditch experience.

What is Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions?
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is an upcoming game set in the Harry Potter universe that solely focuses on the sport of Quidditch. The game is being described by developers as a “competitive, multiplayer experience.”
Quidditch Champions will look to bring Harry Potter fans together through online play, and given the fast pace and excitement that Quidditch brings to the table, the new title could be a whirlwind of fun.
Little is currently known about the game’s expected release date, but the devs claim that players will get the chance to customize their own characters and experience the different roles on a Quidditch pitch including “Beaters, Chasers, Keepers, and Seekers.”
Quidditch Champions sees Warner Bros. Games and Unbroken Studios join forces for the development of the new Harry Potter title. Warner Bros. Games were the minds behind the 2023 release of Hogwarts Legacy. Meanwhile, Unbroken Studios are a co-developer for the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions playtest dates
The first playtest for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will begin on April 21 and players looking to get involved can check out our guide on how to sign up for the playtest.
The first playtest is being described as “limited,” so don’t worry if you don’t get access this time around as we’ll let you know when new playtest dates arise.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions platforms
According to the official FAQ page, “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be available for PC and consoles which have not yet been confirmed.”
PC players will get a chance to team up with their friends online or join others as a solo player. Given the wording used above, there’s no telling if Quidditch Champions will be available on previous-gen consoles like the PS4 or Xbox One.
